We’ve been using ElephantSQL’s remotely-hosted PostgreSQL services for several years, but they are closing down and suggested Aiven as an alternative.
We have a small amount of data (10 MB, less than a dozen tables, with at most 4000 records) that we need to migrate to Aiven ASAP.
I’ve tried used Aiven’s ElephantSQL migration guide but have run into numerous issues (some of which other have also documented in this forum). Aiven support has given suggestions but between the time delays and my lack of knowledge the task is not done.
We’re looking to hire someone to complete this migration for us. I suspect that for someone knowledgeable this is a trivial matter. The ideal timeline for completion would be in the next couple of days.
