EMEA
Big Data Conference (November 22-24, Vilnius): Francesco Tisiot’s session “Attacking (and defending) Apache Kafka” was a big hit.
Real Time Data at Scale (November 28): We’ve teamed up with PingCAP for a Slush co-located event. Speakers: Mattias Jonsson, Senior Database Engineer at PingCAP, Maxim Dudin, Senior Software Engineer at Bolt, and Saulo Valenzuela and Lucian Dragos, Kafka Engineers at Irori.

Berlin OSDI Meetup (November 30): Talks by Yingjun Wu from Risingwave Labs and Gunnar Morling from Decodable.
AMER
AWS re:invent (November 27 - December 1): at re:invent Ben Gamble, Francesco Tisiot and Filip Yonov delivered several sessions at the Aiven booth, and Jenn Junod took over our social channels with livestreams from the event.
APAC
- Olena Kutsenko presented “Beginners guide to balance your data across Apache Kafka partitions” at the Jakarta OSDI meetup (November 14), and the Singapore OSDI meetup (November 16).
Devfest Singapore 2023 (November 18):Olena Kutsenko session “Navigating the AI-driven World with the Power of Community” was well attended.
