Password restricts

When I try to migrate existing MySQL database, I got the info “MySQL replication restricts password to a maximum of 32 characters”.
Do I need to modify the database password to match before migration?

The team came back to me and according to the MySQL docs, 32 characters is the limit for MySQL replication. So this a MySQL thing, not an Aiven thing!

I have the same issue. I am migrating from PlanetScale and the password is autogenerated and more than 32 characters. I do not have the option to set a shorter password

I am in the same situation going from Planetscale to Aiven. Kind of stuck here moving MySQL database to Aiven. I am just learning MySQL and therefore my knowledge about migration is limited.
