How do i get mysql backup in free tier

Hello,

I made a mistake and executed wrong command which updated value for all the rows. can I get a backup of yesterday’s data?

This is not an official answer, but I think the answer is “no, because the backups provided are for disaster recovery (see ‘Compare plans’ lower down), and it’s not a disaster, it’s something you did by mistake”. Point-in-time recovery is a feature of the $75/month Startup plan and higher.

@GreenReaper is, unfortunately, correct. (Thanks btw for the assist!) I’m so sorry, @Santosh_Ashtaputra … we’ve all been there with forgetting a WHERE clause. :grimacing:

In case you want to handle this on your own in the future, Service backups | Aiven docs has links to the various backup utilities for all the services on our platform. This can be handy if you are about to perform a potential “danger zone” operation.
