They provide a balance of compute, memory, and network resources, making them suitable for database workloads with moderate CPU utilization and occasional spikes in demand.

T4g instances accrue CPU credits when operating below the baseline CPU threshold. These credits enable the instance to burst with the performance of a full CPU core for one minute when required. T4g instances are configured with Unlimited mode, allowing them to exceed the baseline for extended periods at an additional cost.
