Terms and Conditions: Aiven Migration Consultation Campaign

These terms and conditions (“Terms”) are by and between Aiven and the participant, and apply to individuals’ participation in the Campaign at: https://aiven.io/aiven-spa-voucher. By participating, the participant accepts these Terms.

1. The Organizer

Organizer of the “Aiven Migration Consultation Campaign” (referred to as the “Campaign”) is Aiven Oy (Business ID: 2795743-5), Antinkatu 1, 00100 Helsinki, Finland (“Aiven”).

2. Duration of the Campaign

The Campaign begins on 01/01/2026 and ends on 31/12/2026, or until the maximum number of Rewards has been reached, whichever occurs first (“Campaign Period”).

3. Eligibility and Participation

The Campaign is open to individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • Professional Status: Current users, architects, or decision-makers employed by organizations currently utilizing Confluent services for their data infrastructure.
  • Age: Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Location: Residents of the United States, United Kingdom, Portugal, Germany, Netherlands, France, Spain, Switzerland, Italy, Sweden, Denmark, Ireland, or Israel.
  • Exclusions: Employees of Aiven, its affiliates, direct competitors of Aiven, or employees and other representatives of government or public entities are not eligible.

To qualify for the Reward, the participant must fulfill the eligibility criteria set forth above and:

  1. Book a consultation via the official Campaign landing page at: https://aiven.io/aiven-spa-voucher.
  2. Attend and complete a fifteen (15) minute session with the Aiven team to discuss current workloads and migration feasibility.
  3. Provide a valid professional/corporate email address (disposable or personal email addresses will be disqualified).

4. The Reward

Eligible participants who successfully complete the consultation will receive one (1) digital voucher valued at €200 / £200 / $200 / (depending on the participant's region) (“Reward”).

  • Vendor Allocation: Vouchers will be issued via the following third-party providers based on the participant’s location:
    • Treatwell: PT, UK, DE, NL, FR, ES, CH
    • Spabreaks.com: UK
    • Smartbox: FR, IT, ES, CH, DE, SE, DK, IE, NL, PT
    • Spafinder: US
    • Spa Plus: Israel
  • Limitations: Limit of one (1) Reward per person and per organization. The Reward is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
  • Third-Party Terms: Use of the Reward is subject to the specific Terms & Conditions of the respective vendor and may only be used according to those terms. Aiven is not responsible for the services provided by the spa and makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding those services provided by the spa. Aiven is not responsible for the expiration of the voucher once delivered. Aiven is an independent entity and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in a partnership/joint venture with any spa or voucher provider.

5. Delivery

Upon Aiven confirming that eligibility and all conditions for the Reward have been met, the digital voucher will be sent to the participant’s professional email address provided to Aiven within 14 business days following the completion of the consultation. Aiven may, in its sole discretion, withhold any Reward for a participant it deems fraudulent or in violation of these Terms or if Aiven reasonably believes that awarding the Reward will impose liability on Aiven or its affiliates.

6. Data Privacy

Aiven processes personal data provided by the participant to administer the Campaign, provide the Reward, and facilitate the consultation. Personal data is processed by Aiven as a data controller subject to the General Data Protection Regulation (2016/679) (“GDPR”)) in accordance with the Aiven Privacy Policy available at: https://aiven.io/privacy. By participating, you acknowledge that Aiven may contact you regarding its services. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time.

7. General Conditions

  • Verification: Aiven reserves the right to verify that the participant is a genuine Confluent customer. Aiven may disqualify any participant if it determines the meeting request is fraudulent or not made in good faith.
  • Employer Policy: Participants are solely responsible for ensuring that accepting the Reward complies with their employer’s internal policies regarding gifts and hospitality. By participating, the Participant represents and warrants that they have obtained all necessary internal approvals, as applicable, and are fully entitled to participate and receive the Reward.
  • Modifications: Aiven reserves the right to modify these Terms and cancel or amend the terms of the Campaign or the Reward. If Aiven cancels the Campaign, these Terms shall terminate immediately.
  • Taxes: The participant is solely responsible for any and all tax obligations, including reporting and payment, arising from the receipt of the Reward. As a condition of fulfillment, the participant agrees to provide Aiven with information or documentation reasonably requested by Aiven to comply with its own tax reporting or withholding obligations under applicable local laws. Aiven reserves the right to withhold or cancel the Reward if the participant fails to provide such required information necessary.
  • Exclusion of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by the applicable law, Aiven and its affiliates shall have no liability whatsoever to the participant for any damages, losses, or claims (whether in contract, tort, or otherwise) arising out of or in connection with these Terms, the Campaign, or the Reward.
  • Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of Finland without giving effect to any choice or conflict of law provisions. Any dispute, controversy or claim arising out of or in connection with this contract, or the breach, termination or invalidity thereof, shall be finally settled by courts in Finland unless Aiven requires submission to arbitration in accordance with the Rules for Expedited Arbitrations of the SCC Arbitration Institute, in which case the seat of arbitration shall be Helsinki, Finland, and the language of arbitration shall be English.
