Aiven for Grafana® 12 is now available

Grafana® 12.4 is now available on Aiven for Grafana®. You can create new services on version 12 or upgrade an existing service to it from the Aiven Console, CLI, API, Terraform provider, or Kubernetes Operator.

Grafana 12 changes behavior that your dashboards, data sources, alert rules, and plugins can depend on. For example, a data source UID can now contain only letters, numbers, and dashes, and dashboards and alert rules that reference a rejected data source must be repointed. Review the Grafana upgrade guide and test the upgrade on a fork of your service first. Downgrading to Grafana 11 is not supported.

Grafana 11.6 remains available and is still the default version for new services.
