Aiven for Valkey™ now available on the Developer tier

Aiven now offers the Developer tier for Aiven for Valkey™: a cost-effective, paid service tier designed for development, testing, and production workloads that do not yet require Professional-tier scale.

Compared to the Free or Hobbyist plans, the Developer plan offers increased CPU and RAM per VM. Additionally, unlike the Free plan, Developer-tier services are not automatically powered off due to inactivity.

Key features:

• Architecture: Single-node deployment
• Resources: 2 CPUs and 4 GB RAM per VM
• Observability: Full monitoring for metrics and logs
• Reliability: Automated backups included
• Support: Access to the Basic-tier support

Limitations:

• Provider/Region: No choice of cloud provider or specific cloud region
• Networking: Cannot be created in VPCs; no static IP support
• Functionality: No integrations or forking capabilities

Aiven reserves the right to change the cloud provider, region, or configuration of Aiven for Valkey™ Developer-tier services at any time.
