Corporate Development AnalystHelsinki, Uusimaa, Finland

Apply now

We’re a global team of over 400 people, working together to push the boundaries of open-source technology and multi-cloud solutions. Our vision is to help developers, builders, and creators bring their ideas to life with speed and simplicity, by providing a cloud data platform that makes open-source databases, search, streaming, and application infrastructure easily accessible to everyone.

The Role:

Are you tired of writing investment memos about the next big thing, only to watch from the sidelines? At Aiven, we don’t just map markets; we change them. We are looking for an ambitious Corporate Development Analyst to join our lean, innovation-obsessed team. Working directly with our VP of Corporate Development and the Chief of Staff to the CEO, you won't be tucked away in a back office. You will be in the room where Aiven’s growth is defined, working in a founder-led environment that values audacity, speed, and deep technical curiosity.

What You'll Do:

We don’t just want an analyst; we want a driver—someone who owns problems and drives them to the finish line. You will be the bridge between Aiven and the most forward-looking founders in the European startup ecosystem.

  • Strategic Sourcing: You are Aiven’s front line. You will initiate dialogues with founders, nurturing the partnerships and M&A opportunities that will define our AI-era roadmap.
  • Full-Lifecycle Ownership: You won't just screen targets; you will own the commercial rationale, valuation, and transaction structure design.
  • Post-Merger Integration (PMI): M&A is only the start. You will project manage the integration across tech, sales, and finance to ensure we actually capture the strategic synergies we promised.
  • Market Intelligence: You will conduct deep-dive analysis to identify the "next wave" of innovation, informing Aiven’s platform evolution.

What We're Looking For:

  • The "Get it Done, Together" Attitude: We move fast and operate as one team. You thrive in a cross-functional environment where silos don't exist.
  • High-Impact Toolkit: You possess a rare blend: ability to build trust with founders and the financial/technical rigor to execute complex M&A.
  • Experience: You have 1–2 years of experience in VC or in-house CorpDev at a tech company. You understand how markets map and how deals close.
  • The Aiven Vibe: You are relentlessly curious about AI, cloud infrastructure, and the startup ecosystem. You can simplify complex strategic concepts for an executive audience in seconds.

Amazing! What’s next:

This is a high-visibility, high-impact role designed to accelerate your career. If you think Aiven is the place for you and that our Values align with yours, send us your resume and we’ll get in touch!
