We’re a global team of over 400 people, working together to push the boundaries of open-source technology and multi-cloud solutions. Our vision is to help developers, builders, and creators bring their ideas to life with speed and simplicity, by providing a cloud data platform that makes open-source databases, search, streaming, and application infrastructure easily accessible to everyone.
The Role:
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Senior Marketing Manager to join our London team. The ideal candidate is a proactive "do-er" and "starter-finisher" who consistently raises the bar. This role requires a leader who can effectively navigate a complex, matrix-style organization to own and drive marketing initiatives from conception to successful completion.
What You’ll Do:
- Integrated Campaign Management: Design, execute, and manage end-to-end integrated marketing campaigns to create measurable demand for both our Sales-Led Growth (SLG) and Product-Led Growth (PLG) motions.
- Brand & Campaign Launch: Take a leading role in the creation, strategy, and launch of new, high-impact campaigns as part of our evolving Brand 2.0 initiative.
- Developer Audience Marketing: Serve as the subject matter expert for our developer audience. You will be responsible for ensuring all content, campaigns, and messaging are authentic, meaningful, and resonate deeply with highly technical users.
- Content & Scalability Strategy: In collaboration with product and sales teams, develop and execute a content creation strategy. A key focus will be to innovate and build scalable mechanisms for content and social media, specifically by leveraging AI or creating new, more efficient processes.
- Channel & Agency Management: Oversee all paid media strategy, execution, and optimization. You will manage our agency relationships to ensure peak performance, ROI, and alignment with campaign goals.
- Data-Driven Optimization: Own all campaign data, with a sharp focus on Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) and other key performance metrics. You will be responsible for continuous, data-informed optimization and reporting on business results.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: 5-8 years of proven experience in a marketing role.
- Persona: You are a "bar-raiser" with a proactive, hands-on mentality. You own projects from start to finish and are driven to see them succeed.
- Collaboration: You have demonstrated experience navigating complexity and working effectively within a cross-functional, matrix-style team environment.
- Integrated Marketing (Expert): Deep, demonstrable experience in creating, managing, and measuring complex, end-to-end integrated marketing campaigns.
- Developer Audiences (High Proficiency): A strong, verifiable background in and comfort with marketing to technical, developer-focused audiences.
- Content Strategy (High Proficiency): Proven skills in developing content strategies and creating content tailored to a specific, technical audience.
- Scalability & Innovation (Proficient): You are an innovative thinker who actively looks for ways to build scalable systems. We are specifically looking for someone who has experience leveraging AI in a marketing context or has a history of creating new scalable mechanisms.
