Right now, we’re looking for a Senior Talent Partner to join our team on a 9 month fixed term contract who shares our passion for forward-thinking and innovative approaches. 

You will be a pivotal figure in attracting and connecting with the best technical talent in the market. As part of a lean and high-impact team, you'll have the unique opportunity to shape our hiring strategy and build a diverse, world-class team.

Your main goal is to empower our teams to find and hire the right people, quickly and with a focus on delivering an exceptional candidate experience. What you’ll do:

  • Own the full recruitment lifecycle: Act as a strategic partner to our hiring managers, guiding them through the entire hiring process from crafting compelling job descriptions to negotiating and closing offers.
  • Focus on attracting top technical talent: You will be the primary recruiter for our engineering and product teams in Lisbon, with a keen understanding of the local tech talent market and the ability to find and engage with passive candidates.
  • Source and pipeline a diverse pool of candidates: Get creative with your sourcing strategies to identify and attract top-tier tech professionals. You'll build and nurture pipelines for both current and future hiring needs, leveraging platforms beyond LinkedIn.
  • Provide a world-class candidate experience: Be a brand ambassador for Aiven, ensuring every candidate has a positive, transparent, and engaging experience from their first touchpoint to their last.
  • Collaborate and share knowledge: As part of a small, lean team, you’ll share your expertise with other Talent Partners and hiring managers, advising on market trends, compensation, and best practices.
  • Manage additional recruitment needs: While your focus is on tech, you'll be flexible and skilled enough to pick up and manage roles across other business functions as needed.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Talent Partner or Senior Recruiter with a strong track record of hiring for a variety of roles within a fast-paced tech company.
  • Deep expertise in technical recruiting: You have a strong understanding of the software development life cycle and can effectively communicate with and evaluate candidates for roles like Software Engineer, Engineering Manager or Product Manager.
  • Exceptional sourcing skills: You are resourceful and creative in finding talent beyond traditional job boards and have a strong network within the Lisbon tech community.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills: You are a trusted advisor to hiring managers and an empathetic and transparent point of contact for candidates.
  • A collaborative and autonomous mindset: You thrive in a lean team, can manage conflicting priorities, and are comfortable working with ambiguity and minimal supervision.
  • Fluency in English is a must.

  1. 60-minute call with one of our Talent Experience Partners
  2. 60-minute Depth of Expertise Interview with the hiring manager
  3. 60-minute Skills Interview and/or Presentation
  4. 60-minute Crabby Principles Interview
