This is a place for the information related to the upcoming Aiven workshop Search and aggregations made easy with OpenSearch and NodeJS

The prerequisites for the workshop are:

  • A web browser
  • Node, npm and git (we’ll install the rest together!)
  • Curiosity :wink:

Installing git

GitHub have useful documentation on how to Install Git.
Alternatively, the git website has a “Downloads” page which links to instructions for Mac, Windows and Linux.

An Aiven account

Rather than get you to set up OpenSearch® locally, or by some other means, we’re going to use Aiven for OpenSearch® on the Aiven platform.

We’ll show how to set up a free trial in the workshop, but there are also instructions at Creating an Aiven account
