Last Wednesday (21/06) we had the second edition of the Open Source Data Infrastructure Meetup in Milan!
- 20 attendees came to Talent Garden Calabiana
- Two amazing speakers:
- Matteo Madeddu (AWS Hero) talked about scaling machine learning pipelines for image analytics based on open source tech
- Natale Vinto (RedHat) talked about GitOps on Apache Kafka, with a cool demo and a final game to play from the phone
- Networking after the session was exceptional, covering subjects like how to write resilient production code, the work of a platform engineer and a data scientist, and how to enhance their collaboration.
The nice location, food and (non-alcoholic) allowed the participants to share, learn and network between each other. Now a little summer break, and see you again in Milan in sept/oct!
