for hours and no progress.
What can I do? I am using free plan.

Hi @cs1,

I know it’s been a bit since you’ve posted this, is your service still having issues?

It feels like your data has outgrown the free plan size.

You might can eek it out a bit by:

  • migrating your service to a paid plan on bigger gear for short while
  • once it’s up dump locally and restore to a new free service
  • or, unsure if you can, but try migrating from the paid to the free service once it’s made a backup on the paid service

The hope there is that once it’s come up and gets a clean backup on the better gear then it might be able to start up within a free plan service since there wouldn’t be so many WAL files.

Hey @cs1 I just want to follow up and see how you are doing.
Did you get to the point where postgres was back up and running?
