Create personal tokens

Create personal token in the Aiven Console to use with the Aiven CLI or API.

1. Click User information and select Tokens.

2. Click Generate token.

3. Enter a description and set the session duration.

4. Click Generate token.

5. Click the Copy icon and save your token somewhere safe.

   important

   You cannot view the token after you close this window.

6. Click Close.
